Maria Angelidou
María Angelidou (Nauplia, 1956 – Athens, 2004) was a Greek writer and painter, known for her work in spreading classical mythology among young people. She studied Fine Arts in Greece and Paris, developing a notable artistic career that, however, did not gain wide recognition in her native country.
Among her most outstanding literary works is Greek Myths (2013), a collection of mythological stories adapted for a children and youth audience. This book has been valued for its accessible and educational approach, bringing the ancient Hellenic legends closer to new generations.
