Rafael Dumett
Rafael Dumett, born in Lima in 1963, is a prominent Peruvian playwright and novelist whose work combines a solid academic and artistic background. He studied Linguistics at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and Theater both at the University Theater and at La Sorbonne, Paris, acquiring a comprehensive view of performing arts and narrative.
In the theatrical field, he has written works such as "AM/FM" (1985), "Real Numbers" (1991), "The Final Judgment" (1997), and "Camasca" (2019), the latter awarded with the British Theater Award We Put Your Play on Stage.
