Roberto Pineda

Roberto Pineda is a Spanish writer and communicator specialized in video games, originally from Seville. Since January 2016, he has been an editor at GTM magazine, where he has also collaborated on the Meristation website since April 2021. Previously, he worked at 3DJuegos (2020-2021), Alfa Beta Juega (2019-2020), and 33bits (2018-2019)

In 2021, he published The Hollow Book (GTM Editions), a work that delves into the universe of the video game Hollow Knight. This 256-page book offers a detailed analysis of the geography of Hallownest, its inhabitants and beasts, as well as its creators and the legend that has originated around it. The work includes 74 original illustrations created by artists Sergio Melero, Isa Fernández, and Toni Mula, who accompanied Pineda in his research

In December 2024, an expanded edition titled The Hollow Book: The Dark Pages of the Void was released, which includes 20 new pages and 9 unpublished illustrations, establishing itself as a deluxe edition with covers finished in canvas paper, metallic embossing, and black-tinted edges

Through his work as a writer and communicator, Roberto Pineda has significantly contributed to the dissemination and analysis of the world of video games, especially in the field of books dedicated to this medium.
