Rupi Kaur
Rupi Kaur (Punjab, India, October 4, 1992) is one of the most read poets and artists in contemporary poetry. She moved to Canada at the age of four and grew up in Brampton, Ontario, in an environment marked by migration and the search for identity. After studying rhetoric and professional writing at the University of Waterloo, she began sharing her illustrated poems on social media, where her minimalist and personal style revolutionized the genre and attracted millions of followers worldwide.

She published milk and honey (2014), which exceeded 12 million copies sold and was translated into more than 40 languages, followed by the sun and her flowers (2017), home body (2020) and healing through words (2022), all international successes. Kaur has been recognized as the “writer of the decade” by The New Republic, appears on the Forbes 30 under 30 list, and won the Goodreads Choice Award for Best Poetry. Her books have remained for weeks on the New York Times bestseller list and she has conducted highly successful world tours, inspiring a global audience through her art and creative activism.
