Charles Edward Hunter (1920–2010) was an American evangelist and Christian author, known for his work in the divine healing ministry alongside his wife, Frances Hunter. Known as “The Happy Hunters”, they spent about 40 years leading healing crusades around the world, teaching believers to pray for the sick and to practice the healing ministry. Their accessible, faith-based approach drew thousands to their events and trainings.
Among his most notable works is How to Heal the Sick (1973), considered a fundamental manual in the field of Christian healing. Other relevant titles include Healing Manual and The Book of Angels, all published by Whitaker House. His legacy continues through his daughter, Joan Hunter, who leads the family ministry and continues to promote the teaching of divine healing.
