Leigh Rivers is a Scottish writer and biomedical scientist who has ventured into dark romance literature, creating morally ambiguous characters and intense plots. Her most notable work is Little Stranger (2023), the first installment of The Web of Silence Duet series. In 2024, she published Little Liar, the continuation of the series. Additionally, she started the trilogy The Edge of Darkness with Insatiable (2023), followed by Voracious (2023) and Restitution (2024)

In 2024, Rivers also launched Satanic Shadows, the first book of The Broken Realms series. Her style is characterized by exploring dark and complex themes, establishing her as an influential author in the dark romance genre.

I was slightly disappointed as I was looking for the old cover of this book and I thought that is what I'd receive due to the picture via the listing.. So be cautious if you are looking the old print. It was not, it was the new print, however the new print is beautiful
