Joanne Fluke
Joanne Fluke is the New York Times bestselling American author who created the Hannah Swensen mysteries, a series that includes Caramel Pecan Roll Murder, Triple Chocolate Cheesecake Murder, Coconut Layer Cake Murder, and the book that started it all, Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder. Her stories have been adapted into the television series Murder, She Baked, which airs on the American channel Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. The Mystery Writers of America awarded her, along with Michael Connelly, the Grand Master Award at the 2023 Edgard Awards. Like Hannah Swensen, Joanne Fluke was born and raised in a small town in rural Minnesota, but now lives in Southern California.
