Synopsis "A Beach Chase: An a - z Alphabet Book"
Follow Holly and Logan, on an exploration of their beautiful coastal home. The book has beautiful sights and encounters with nature in an A-to-Z format with alphabet letters hidden throughout the book illustrations. The story follows the adventures of two children, as they try to retrieve a pink conch shell from a mischievous mermaid. Holly and Logan chase after her, scuba diving and kayaking along the shore. They finally come upon an undersea party, and see the mermaid giving the shell to a shell-less hermit crab. This act of kindness inspires Holly to share her shell collection with the other sea creatures. At the end of the book, there is a small index that reveals the illustrated letters and corresponding nautical items.This book is recommended to be read out loud for classrooms or when reading with parents, as they can use their index finger to trace the outline of the alphabet letter on the page. Kids are also encouraged to look and find any hidden items or creatures that relate to that letter as well, as referred to the index in the back of the book.
