Synopsis "A Piece of Paradise: A Randy Lassiter & Leslie Carlisle Mystery"
Newlyweds Leslie Carlisle and Randy Lassiter have combined Leslie's photo assignment in the Out Islands of the Bahamas with their honeymoon. While waiting on an isolated beach so Leslie can capture the obligatory sunrise shot, they're startled when an airplane screams overhead. Something crashes through the palms above them, and then package after package tumble from the plane. As armed men appear down the beach, Leslie and Randy realize they're in the middle of a drug drop, but manage to escape detection. What was supposed to have been an idyllic time in the Caribbean turns into a nightmare. A friend goes missing, a mysterious yacht anchors in Governor's Harbor, and they encounter a reporter who's on the trail of some international businessmen of a dubious sort. And Hurricane Nikita continues to draw closer by the hour.
