Synopsis "Andrews Last Raider"
In a desperate gamble by the Confederacy, a plan is hatched to win the Civil War in its opening months. The mission fails during what is now known as the greatest locomotive chase in history. According to history, all of the raiders involved in the chase were captured. Some were executed as spies, some served time in prison and some escaped and were later awarded the first Medals of Honor issued by the United States. But History is sometimes wrong. There was one who was never discovered. He survived to live a long life but due to a war time injury his memories concerning his participation in the chase are lost. Until 1928 when he is forced by tragic events to remember his past. To remember the reason for the chase and the location of a fortune in gold that was never revealed and never discovered as having shipped on the train that was stolen. Hidden in those memories is also the identity of one person, a brutal killer, who knew of the gold and has pursued it for all these years. With the aid of a onetime mobster, who himself has a less than virtuous past they stumble through a maze of treachery, murder and greed concluding in a bloody battle of, the not so good against evil.
