Synopsis "Bob: A Long way to Zimbabwe"
BOB invites you to join him on some of his adventures over the past 30+ years to Zimbabwe, Tanzania, South Africa, Ethiopia, Namibia, and Zambia. Travel with him in the open hunting cars, dugout canoes, and, trucks as he tracks the big game of Africa and faces the challenges of dangerous animals: mbogo, simba, chui, ndovo, as they are known that area of the world. To us, they are buffalo, lion, leopard, and elephant. Walk with him as he encounters snakes and armed bandits in some of the most remote, beautiful, and inaccessible areas of the world. Get a sense of what it's like to come face to face with two large, angry male lions, be charged by a wounded buffalo, and to walk into the middle of a pride of feeding lions. Ride along with him on horseback hunting and exploring through the remote areas of British Columbia. Join him as he an Inuit Eskimo cross the Arctic Ocean in an open aluminum boat to Victoria Island in pursuit of musk ox and caribou. Watch the running of the bulls in Spain from a hot air balloon and race across Baja with him in The Baja 1000. Travel along on a business trip to Russia and a fishing trip to New Zealand in search world class trout and more. You will meet some of the people with whom he has shared adventures, danger, and enduring friendships.
