Bachelorarbeit aus dem Jahr 2015 im Fachbereich Kunst - Kunstgeschichte, Note: 1, Universität Wien, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Ende des 16. Jahrhunderts von Wittelsbacher Herzog Wilhelm V. für die Jesuiten geschaffene Kirche St. Michael befindet sich in der Münchner Innenstadt. Nach dem Drei igjährigen Krieg setzte sie völlig neue architektonische Ma stäbe und diente für viele Nachfolgebauten als Vorbild. Mit dieser Arbeit soll ein Versuch unternommen werden, die bedeutende Rolle dieser Kirche innerhalb der mitteleuropäischen Architekturentwicklung des Barock herauszustellen und dies zu begründen. Vor allem den Fragen nach Raumtypus und Epochenzuordnung wird hierbei nachgegangen.
