Like many eleven-year-old boys, Luke Heavner enjoyed playing sports, fishing, hunting, and spending time with friends near his family's home in Lincolnton, NC. After sustaining two separate concussions in two weeks, however, his life took a dramatic turn as he suddenly suffered from headaches, panic attacks, nausea, disorientation, and other terrifying symptoms while struggling to recover.
