Noted as one of the few pulp P.I.s to actually be in a relationship, these stories are some of the most refined detective stories of the post-war era, as the influence of the noir movies of the era greatly influenced their plots and styling. The Complete Cases of Jim Bennett, Volume 1 contains the first four stories, along with all of the original pulp illustrations.
