When diagnosed with a serious illness, Jacqui Martin considers it a temporary derailment. A personal account of suffering and redemption, the book is about healing and becoming whole. It's a revelation of how Martin found an abundance of support in the form of life lessons while traveling the globe, by embracing eastern traditions to understand deeper healing, and through spiritual opening, which softened her pain and eased her suffering. We discover that she accepted the beauty of nature as her teacher, learned about sacred ceremony and tradition in other faiths, and that she symbolically died in order to come back to life. Traveling Sunwise is about diving for the pearls in our lives, and when we find them, we are told to try and make sense of how they made us who we are.
