Andrea Braverman was born in 1970, in Buenos Aires. She studied journalism at TEA, a Diploma in Reading, Writing and Education at FLACSO, and film scriptwriting at Guionarte. She is an author and editor of school texts and writes stories, poems, scripts, and novels for adults and children. Many of her stories and adaptations have been published in school anthologies. Some of her published books are El monstruo tejedor and Cuentos para crecer contentos. Her story "El descontador de cuentos" received a mention in the Allianz "La mirada de los jóvenes" contest.
