I am also honored that Mr. Hawkins quoted my work several times throughout his book; I have read portions of the book several times and found it a learning experience for myself. I love Vance Hawkins summarizing statement, "We get whiter ever generation...soon our Indian blood will be forgotten utterly, erased like footprints in the snow...we'll likely be forgotten, too.
