Irene F. es una mujer joven que vive y trabaja en Turín, y que proviene de una familia de clase media. Todo muy “normal”, una vida sin problemas aparentes. Sin embargo, las raíces familiares están contaminadas por una enfermedad mental que pronto se dará a conocer en Irene con todo su poder y destrucción.
