Jalostotitlán: Padrones Parroquiales, Volumen 2 contiene los padrones o censos de 1672, 1673 y 1679 que fueron levantados por el Cura del Partido de Jalostotitlán, también conocido antiguamente como el “Beneficio de los Tecuexes”, que abarcaba los siete pueblos de indios de Jalostotitlán, San Juan de los Lagos, San Miguel el Alto, San Gaspar de los Reyes, Teocaltitán, Mezquitíc, y Mitíc. El libro incluye los padrones de dichos años completamente paleografiados, y con una copia fotográfica de dichos documentos. Los padrones son fuentes primarias, los cuales son de gran utilidad para investigaciones sobre la región alteña. La obra está dirigida a los sociólogos, antropólogos e historiadores, y particularmente a quienes investigan su árbol genealógico y tienen raíces en la región conocida como Los Altos en el estado de Jalisco, México.
