At age nineteen, as an atheist, he was given a vision from the Lord that changed the course of his life. He became a Christian! At age thirty-three Clifford was called into a Bible teaching ministry. He left his prosperous contracting and development business and answered the call in 1972. In 1977 he founded His Word, Inc., a non-denominational Bible teaching ministry to the body of Christ, teaching in homes, churches, television programs, Bible camps, and conferences in the United States and Canada.
