Conocí a Lola, María Dolores Martínez Auñón, oriunda de Albacete y radicada hoy en Vilamarxant, en 1991 y en ese encuentro también conocí su poesía. Alucinada por el título de uno de sus primeros libros La voluptat del groc, supe que el amarillo, color recurrente en mi poesía, se llama groc en valenciá y la voluptat es, claro, la voluptuosidad. ?La voluptuosidad del amarillo?. Luego, leyendo lentamente y con ayuda (com una estella nova / d?una llanca que s?afanya /brolla, la indefugible drecera / dels genolls corrent esclaus) entré en ese lenguaje de armonía dulce. Más tarde Lola traduciría mi libro Albricia como ?Albixera?, que en ese idioma se dulcifica y danza en otro ritmo...
