LA singularidad de la obra de Leopoldo María Panero se continúa en sus trabajos como traductor de textos poéticos, que se reúnen aquí en edición bilingüe. En poemas que van de Catulo a Jagger&Richards, pasando por Guilhem de Peitieu, John Clare, Robert Browning, Edward Lear, Lewis Carroll, Tristan Corbière y Georges Bataille, Panero se muestra como un traductor que escribe desde la posición de autor, exigencia sobre la que él mismo teorizó con todo conocimiento de la problemática traductológica y que ofrece unos resultados que no se diferencian de la escritura propia. La edición está al cuidado del catedrático de Teoría de la Literatura y Literatura Comparada de la Universidad de Zaragoza, Túa Blesa, reconocido experto en la obra de Panero, y se completa con un ensayo introductorio en el que se comenta y sitúa la teoría y práctica de la perversión, término con el que Leopoldo María Panero denominó su tarea de traductor.
