Synopsis "Twists of Fate"

Miguel Ruiz is a Spanish veteran exiled in France who was a member of “La Nueve” ("The Nine"), a company of men that went straight from fighting for their homeland in the Spanish Civil War to battles spanning the globe in WWII. Their years-long trek across Europe and Africa was spurred on by their love for their country and their hatred for brutal dictatorships. (Valencia, 1969) Estudió en la Escuela de Arte y Superior de Diseño de Valencia. Aunque su trabajo se centra en los cómics, compagina su tiempo con la ilustración y las charlas y talleres. En el terreno de los cómics, su obra se ha traducido a una docena de países y algunos han sido llevados al ámbito audiovisual. En cuanto a la ilustración, ha realizado carteles, portadas de libros, murales y campañas sociales, para todo tipo de eventos, publicaciones o clientes, en especial organizaciones no gubernamentales.
