Artista pop, activista, educadora y monja, colega de figuras como Charles y Ray Eames y admiradora de Andy Warhol, Sister Corita nos trajo toda una revolució n no solo en el arte de la serigrafí a sino tambié n en el de las pedagogí as artí sticas y en la propia noció n de " creatividad" . Aprender arte a la manera Corita consistí a en buscar al artista que todos llevamos dentro y entregarse para siempre a la observació n atenta, el juego y la celebració n. En 1979, tras revolucionar las aulas de arte del Immaculate Heart College de Los Á ngeles, Sister Corita pidió a Jan Steward, amiga y antigua alumna suya, que escribieran juntas un libro en el que recoger y transmitir sus enseñ anzas. El resultado es este maravilloso tesoro, a medio camino entre manual de arte, cuaderno de ejercicios y reflexió n sobre la creatividad, que compila sus impagables lecciones siempre surgidas de la mÁ s fundamental de sus convicciones: " No tenemos arte. Lo hacemos todo lo mejor que podemos" .
