Synopsis "A Holy Invitation: Reflections on Home, Hope & Hospitality"
A full-color 24-day advent devotional inspired by reflections on home, hope, and hospitality. For early Christians, Advent was without the trappings of modern-day commercialism. There was great celebration of the Savior born to us, and expectation of His soon return as risen King. Today we find ourselves yet in the middle...reaching backward to revere Him, and forward to receive Him. He is our Guest of Honor, and we are His eternal guests, invited into the Kingdom of His Father. Within this, a theme emerges-an invitation to Christ-like hospitality, near and dear to the heart of God, and there we want to focus this Christmas. In this devotional, for each day's theme you will find a brief essay, four focus questions with space to write, a creative space for doodling, scripture for meditation, a song recommendation, and encouragement to share your own thoughts on Home, Hope and Hospitality.
