As I sit to write this, I hope I live to one day see the end of all this madness, and have the light once again return to Ellspire. It was in that encompassing darkness that I found Orin, and in that remarkable discovery the key to merging a once lost civilization to my own fading world. Despite all we have faced together, and the countless lives that have been lost along the way, I know that the very instant the Divines brought myself, Cyres, and Orin together in the depths of that dark mountain, was the very day that made the trolls tremble and the governing darkness question and second guess all its carefully set plans.
