Synopsis "Alas rotas (in Spanish)"

Alas rotas simboliza el fracaso de un amor puro entre un hombre y una mujer, que se vio truncado por el materialismo y la ambición de un obispo que rinde más culto a las riquezas que a su Diós, y lo trunca a través de su insensible sobrino, que sólo busca en Selma el dinero de la herencia del acaudalado Farris Efendi y, además, la posibilidad de que pueda perpetuar el clan con un hijo. Al final del relato, la protagonista da a luz un niño, que muere al poco de nacer, al igual que su madre, siendo enterrados ambos en un mismo ataúd.
