Synopsis "America Attacks"
It's three days before the invasion. North Korean divisions have been discovered moving close to the border by clandestine listening posts set up by Eighth Army's head of intelligence, Colonel Nelson. A continuation in the series of The Post, and Fighting Behind the Lines, America Attacks opens on day eight of the North Korean invasion. Colonel Nelson's original Post men have just succeeded in destroying key bridges south of the recently captured South Korean capital of Seoul, thus delaying the North Korean southward advance by days. Nelson's men are now headed to Osan to join forces with the first American Army brigade sent to slow the enemy's rapid advance.
