An Unexpected Christmas is a fictional Christmas story for all the family. With the mixture of Santa Claus stories and others, like that of A Christmas Carol - it should offer readers a pleasing book to enjoy over holiday periods for many years to come. It is only a few days before Christmas and Santa has become ill. His Elf Doctor, and his Head Elf, Gabriel, had already told him that there was no way it will have cleared up in time for him to be able to do his present deliveries this year. A rapid, but thorough search of the Claus archive records dating back to when the role of Santa first began. Only showed up one distant relation in them so far, who had already had suffered from the same illness - and who may be the only one possible to be able to assume the role. Leonard Claus, a wealthy Banker in the financial capital of London was his name. However, his own lifestyle and personal thoughts and ideals on what Christmas had since become from his own youth, were far different to that of a budding Santa Claus. The only thing he did have going for him at the time, was the inherited Claus laugh. Would he be able to assume this highly regarded role, and carry out the task required of him? Or will his own background simply turn Christmas into a complete mess and leave a disaster behind him!
