Synopsis "Animalis"
A galaxy's worth of alien life is all around us. With wildly varied appearances, some as tall as buildings, some covered in fur, or scales. Their intelligence is very nearly human, but their ways are strange and unfamiliar. And they're right here on Earth. Have you seen them?Animals.Things changed one hundred years ago and now they walk the earth in near human form. Talking, using tools, some say civilized. We call them Animalis (an/im/al/is), and they want to destroy us. That's why Jax joined the military, to fight them. He's going to make a difference. And when things get tough, if they hurt him, his friends, or family, he's not going to quit like his Dad did. Jax is no coward.But doubts are growing. Ever since meeting Grimshaw, his heart hasn't stopped twisting. She's fun, beautiful, intoxicating, and she trusts the Animalis. Her co-pilot is one, a fox. They've taken his friend, Hank. Holding him in a warehouse. There are Animalis at work amongst the conveyor belts. Something isn't right, they seem so normal. But... these are terrorists, planning a major attack in Australia. Hank is here with a bag around his head. The Animalis pushing him raises a pistol to his head.Jax has to act. He raises his rifle and puts the creature's head in the crosshairs. They aren't human.
