Synopsis "Astronomy Facts & Fun: A Topical Study"
Over the years we have enjoyed frequent studies of astronomy - particularly the History of Astronomy. I am not an astronomer, I am a historian, and that's how I've approached these studies. During those times we have developed a fair number of educational products to increase our enjoyment - including timeline games, several min-units/lapbooks, and more. Now for the first time, we have put all of those different things together in one book. Here you will find: an introduction to astronomers, mini units on five specific astronomers (Copernicus, Galileo, Charles Messier, William Herschel, and Caroline Herschel), a planets mini unit/lapbook, a mini unit on the development of the microscope and telescope, a History of Astronomy Time-Line Game, and a Space Exploration Time-Line Game. Warning: This is a book about astronomy written by a Christian. As such, it includes Scriptures in several places.
