Yogesh and Aesha, two friends that I met in a meditation silent retreat in India, have planned to go to the Amazon jungle to partake in ayahuasca ceremonies.Although my knowledge of shamanism is still rudimentary, I have heard of ayahuasca, the famous "vine of the dead," a plant-based concoction that radically alters the state of consciousness, also known as "the plant which opens the door to the spirit world."Seeking spiritual growth, I decide to accompany my friends.
