Not for the faint of heart, Baroque to Blues is a collection of 15 compositions, including 5 duets, arranged for ukulele artists who are eager to step-up their fingerstyle level of play. Exploring 400 years of musical tradition, the book features styles including Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Folk/Traditional, Americana, and Blues written by some of the most iconic composers of each genre. Though not a "method" book, each piece challenges the musician to expand their proficiency in music notation and tablature, tempo and rhythm, as well as fingerstyle technique including, multi-voice, barre, HoPo, slides, bends, and right-hand picking.
