El título es significativo. Nos envía a dos dimensiones del catequista: vivir lo que anuncia y buen hacer para anunciar. La fuente de inspiración para la reflexión se pone en «el hacer de Dios» en la historia de la salvación. Un estilo particular por el que Dios se abaja y trata con los hombres y que denominamos «pedagogía divina». Esta pedagogía de Dios, la Iglesia la pone por obra en su actividad evangelizadora. Es lo que expresamos al usar la expresión «pedagogía de la fe». En la Sagrada Escritura se nos narra cómo Dios actuó con Israel, cómo Jesús educó a sus discípulos y cómo el Espíritu condujo a los primeros cristianos hacia el conocimiento de Cristo. A la luz de ese testimonio, la Iglesia, a través del tiempo, va extrayendo las líneas de acción necesarias para ejercer la cercanía y el cuidado que su Señor tiene de los hombres.
