Together their journey takes them the length and breadth of Briton.Along the way the twins befriend an elusive hobgoblin and are hunted down by the Evil One. They face a myriad of monsters, and a dark truth is revealed to Tiernon the Mighty, by the Creator himself, in lieu of a favour of his own. The heroes are plunged head long into battle with the most feared creature known to the Celts and need all there strength, wit and guile as they face off in the dark caves of the Bucca. Meanwhile, King Alfred of the Atrebates Clan rides to the aid of the Brigantes tribes in the North to lead them to a promised land, facing monsters and evil entities along the way. The Evil One relentlessly pursues both parties and battles are fought throughout the land as both factions endeavour to seal their destiny.
