Charlotte Posenenske: Work in Progress, la primera gran muestra monográfica dedicada a la artista alemana en el Estado español, recorre la evolución de la práctica de Posenenske desde los primeros experimentos con la creación de marcas y texturas, hasta lasesculturas modulares de fabricación industrialproducidas en serie que los consumidores montan o disponen a su antojo, pasando por el período de transición de los relieves murales en aluminio.
La exposición y el presente libro pretenden recuperar el importante legado de Posenenske para las futuras generaciones de artistas, historiadores y público en general. Las propuestas y provocaciones incluidas en esta publicación recontextualizan las aportaciones de la artista al discurso de lasprácticas minimalistas, conceptuales y participativas.
La exposición ha sido organizada por la Dia Art Foundation e itinera al MACBA Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona, la Kunstammulung Nordrhein-Westfalen Düsseldorf, y el Mudam Luxembourg - Musée d’Art Moderne Grand-Duc Jean
