Synopsis "Color Me Carefree: Black Women Deserve to be Carefree and Celebrated"
I created this book because Black women are constantly policed. We can't even go out to brunch without somebody's ashy son saying something. And I'm tired of it, so I made something to celebrate us. This book is a labor of love cuz I legit enjoyed drawing chunky girls with big ass areolas. There's some nakedness and coochie poppin sprinkled in but overall it's black women just being carefree and happy. I hope you love it. I hope it makes you laugh. I hope it helps with healing and I hope you feel seen. This is basically a love letter to black women cuz we dope af. We're often imitated but rarely celebrated, so I'm here to celebrate you sis! ***This book contains 88 illustrations*** If you wanna share your colored pages with me, you can find me on social media Facebook: Crafty Carlisha Instagram: @CraftyCarlisha Twitter: @Lisa_Unique My website: craftycarlisha.com I also have an Etsy page: Crafty Carlisha
