My name is Louisa Ashforth, I am Beauty Salon Owner of 20 years. I started back when I was 21 and I look back now at things I would have told my 21-year-old self. By helping you to recognise that having a strong, positive mindset and understanding why we do what we do are the key to achieving the successful salon you desire. I hope you find useful information in this book along with some lessons and some laughter too. I believe we can choose to keep smiling through whatever poop we are going through. Nobody wants to see a miserable face, do they? It is not always easy in our job, is it? But let's get that mask on and smile, right? I believe in Beauty we wear a kind of mask, not the COVID ones and no we are not 2 faced! Greet your client with a smile and both yours and their worries can fade away, even just for a little while. How precious is it, that we can create an environment to ease people's worries, even if it is just for the short space of their treatment time?
