Synopsis "Criticism of Jacques Maritain in His Work the Integral Man"
In the present essay we will expose the ideas of the integral man in the work of Jacques Maritain, which expresses on the conduct of the Christian man in front of a modern society which has left aside God, supposing the materialistic knowledge as the only overseer of humanity. Finally, it must be taken into account that in order for man to be able to integrate himself into society and even more, to enter into socio-political issues, he must have as an objective to have peace, freedom and a conception of individualism, but not material individualism, but the kind that makes you meet yourself, being an enhancer of yourself. Maritain, directs his work not to a Christian sector, but to a socio-political sector with the hope that these are not only focused on the idea of the lesser evil as a last resort in politics, because what he is looking for is someone with Christian principles can guide public issues on a good path, and since he has the requirements that he asks, he believes that it is the most correct in essence for society.
