En 1993, en Suiza, se creó la Fundación Theodora con la intención de ofrecer momentos mágicos a niñas, niños y adolescentes enfermos y hospitalizados. Así nacieron los Doctores Sonrisa, unos verdaderos artistas profesionales, que visitan incansablemente hospitales para contagiar su alegría a estos niños cuando más lo necesitan. En España lo hacen desde el año 2000. Ahora, coordinado por Antonio Ventura, acaba de publicarse un libro magnífico, Cuentos a la orilla del sueño. Los beneficios que se obtengan por su venta irán directamente a la Fundación Theodora. En él han colaborado veintiséis escritores y otros tantos ilustradores. La lista es realmente extraordinaria: Alfredo Góemz Cerdá, Pep Albanell, Fernando Alonso, Eliacer Cansino, Joan Manuel Gisbert, Gustavo Martín Garzo, Xabier P. DoCampo.
