?¿Por qué la cuerda, entonces, si el aire es tan sencillo??. Entre la cuerda y el aire, lo que ahí cabe. Entre el aire que ofrece alas y la cuerda que anuda y aprieta. Dentro de un pozo, la cuerda que ya ha sido izada y, muy arriba, ese estrecho círculo de luz por el que alguna vez cruzan pájaros o estrellas. El funámbulo que siempre quiso volar y se resigna a caminar, con pasos cortos y precavidos, sobre la cuerda inestable que le sostiene. Metáforas, claro, añagazas de buhonero. Pero también, también? el esfuerzo por decir, aunque sea un esfuerzo vano y tullido desde el origen. La brega con las palabras, el afán por alcanzar ese brocal sin asideros. La poesía como red echada al agua y como sortilegio.
