My name is Roxie Andrews and I was raised knowing one truth: my only job in this world is to protect my little brother so he can fulfill his destiny to save the world. I've got another dragon pack demanding my brother join them, but that decision is a no brainer. I don't take orders from outsiders and there's no way I'm getting my brother tangled up with a leader who thinks anyone who isn't a dragon - namely me - doesn't deserve to walk the earth alongside his majestic butt. He doesn't understand the word, "no," but I'll add it to his dictionary. Oh, and there's a six-hundred-year-old vampire raising the stakes. She thinks she can force me into working for her. Since she can kill me faster than I can take a breath, restructuring her dictionary might be harder, but I'm tenacious. I'll get the job done.
