Synopsis "Dear Crabigail: Criticism, Witticism, and Crime"

Twins Penny and Pam are hot on the trail of an evil serial killer, this time for their own preservation. While Penny has tried her best to lay low, Pam has become somewhat infamous as the writer of a "Dear Crabigail Column." Her notoriety may have made them a target of the murderer who specifically seeks out twins as victims.A Berry College graduate, Penny Gardin Lewis began her career as an Industrial Arts teacher. Heavily involved with the Carroll County Community Theatre, she first served as a volunteer building sets, and later became the CPRCAD's Arts Coordinator and then its Arts Manager. She was the inaugural director of the Carrollton Cultural Arts Center, where she built Carrollton's reputation as a leader in the visual, literary and performing arts in Georgia. Her unique talent for engaging audiences led to many memorable performances and gallery shows highlighting local actors, musicians, dancers, writers and artists. In 2002, she launched MeccaFest, a juried arts festival, to celebrate national artists and showcase Carrollton's vibrant art community. With the help of her husband, Dan and other collaborators, she has written and produced 38 musicals for children in the past 27 years, which have been performed by children all over the world.Penny is enjoying semi-retirement in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina writing novels, creating art, and hanging at the beach where happiness comes in waves. Her first two novels, Bearing Crosses and Microwave is Dead, were published in 2017 and earned Penny two Georgia Author of the Year nominations. (Bearing Crosses for Best First Novel and Microwave is Dead for Best Literary Fiction.)Penny and Dan are parents to grown and gone children Meagan (Jeff), Leslie (David), and Chris (Sarah). They are eagerly waiting the birth of their first little grand child. Penny's next book will most likely be for that baby girl.
