Synopsis "Decolonial Heritage Education"
Results of the Academic Master's degree this is a decolonial and post-colonial study of an afro-diaphorical tradition that is the Samba de Bumbo. The scenario is Santana de Parnaíba-SP, city where this cultural practice exists. Analyzing the Samba of the Cry of the Night and the Samba of Cururuquara. The study also aimed - from our experiences in Samba de Bumbo - to contribute to a systematization of the stories of the Groups. It shows that the practice of Samba de Bumbo is an ancestral knowledge coming from African traditions, of a lot of resistance and persistence, but as many Afro-diaphorical practices were in a way also silenced, subalternized, trying to answer the following question: how did samba resist and resist until today in Parnaíba? The existence of the population in a situation of slavery, without the possibility of communicating or expressing themselves freely without the weight of punishment. This required a weapon for their communication that are the improvised verses of texts, between questions and answers, accompanied by percussion instruments.
