DEEP IN THE FOREST is based on four separate, but equally strange events occurring over the last two centuries, near the tiny isolated town of Pine Veil, in the East Texas forests of Woodsmen County. These stories have gone largely unnoticed, until now. With illustrations from Shawna Bowman and Thoren Flowers, readers are taken on journeys through unexplored paths through the pines.
