Synopsis "Descriptive study of blood cells of the black-chested eagle"
A descriptive study was carried out on the morphology of the blood morphology (erythrocytes, thrombocytes and leukocytes) of 14 black-chested eagles (Geranoaetus melanoleucus australis) belonging to the Centro de Rehabilitación de Aves Rapaces de Talagante, located in the Metropolitan Region of Santiago, Chile. Describing size, shape, affinity for staining, cell color and nucleus of each cell type, in addition to an analysis of variability according to sex and age, generating as a final objective a guide containing a photographic section of each analyzed smear.
