Synopsis "El Lazarillo de Tormes Completo i y ii Parte Amberes 1554 (in Spanish)"

El Lazarillo, al igual que El Quijote, tuvo dos partes: la primera que todos conocemos y la segunda que se publicó de manera conjunta en Amberes en 1555, no llegando a publicarse en España hasta 1844, por estar prohibida por la Inquisición. La primera cuestiona la Iglesia, la segunda todo el sistema. A la primera se la indulta, a la segunda se la condena a desaparecer. Por suerte se edita en Amberes y Milán, de lo contrario jamás hubiese llegado hasta nuestros días. La Segunda es una perfecta desconocida, tan solo se reimprimió en dos ocasiones más y siempre fuera de España, en Milán en 1587 y 1615, junto con el primer Lazarillo. Ahora es posible leer ambas partes, sin censura y de manera fácil, al estar completamente adaptado al castellano actual, siendo ideal para los jóvenes que se inician en la lectura de los clásicos.Paco Arenas
