Synopsis "Factores Ambientales y Xenobióticos (in Spanish)"

Especies del complejo Fusarium graminearum generan podredumbres de espiga en maíz del noroeste y en trigo del centro de Argentina. Estos patógenos reducen el rendimiento en granos y los contaminan con tricotecenos, especialmente deoxinivalenol (DON) y nivalenol (NIV), cuya ingestión puede generar intoxicaciones en humanos y animales. La ecofisiología toxigénica de las especies del complejo Fusarium graminearum es escasamente conocida, particularmente el impacto que ejercen factores ambientales y fungicidas comerciales sobre las mismas. En este trabajo se investigó la cinética de crecimiento micelial y la capacidad toxigénica de 12 cepas del complejo Fusarium graminearum al crecer bajo diferentes temperaturas y actividades agua (aw). También se investigó el impacto sobre el crecimiento micelial y la capacidad toxigénica de dosis subletales de fungicidas azoles (propiconazol y tebuconazol). Además se evalúo la patogenicidad y agresividad de las cepas sobre genotipos de maíz en campo. )
