Synopsis "Fosca (in Spanish)"

Igino Ugo Tarchetti (San Salvatore Monferrato, 1839-Milà, 1869) fou probablement el millor exponent del moviment bohemi italià (la Scapigliatura) i això gràcies a la seva última novel•la, Fosca, la qual va deixar inacabada perquè la mort el sorprengué abans, a l’edat de trenta anys. «Més que l’anàlisi d’un afecte, més que el relat d’una passió amorosa, potser faig ací la diagnosi d’una malaltia». Amb aquestes paraules l’autor prova de definir una extraordinària vivència que fusiona horror i esplendor i que ell literaturitza confonent art i vida per tal de preservar la memòria d’uns fets que el trasbalsaren personalment. Un triangle sentimental, fora de tota convenció, representa el punt de partida que Tarchetti aprofita per introduir-nos en les seves reflexions morals sobre la psicologia humana i sobre la societat en què va viure.
