Este libro recoge toda la obra de Amaia Lasa (Getaria, 1948). Desde sus primeros poemas, que aparecen aquí con el título 'El rostro del futuro', hasta los inéditos, agrupados en el volumen 'Días superpuestos' (1990-1997). Los poemarios 'Raíz entera' (1970-1975) y 'Horas heridas' (1976-1978) completan el discurso de su poética en tres décadas. En su devenir se advierte una clara tendencia a la ensoñación, en una poesía llena de sugerencias, poesía que refiere, que propone, insinúa y denota. Lasa tiene presente cuanto afirma en uno de sus primeros poemas. La vida es la búsqueda del color final, que supera todo color.
